Bursary Scheme

The Society is offering each year up to ten bursaries of £100 for Bulgarian
 students at UK Universities and Colleges. The money is intended for the
 purchase of books or for a study visit required by or relevant to the course.
 Receipts will be required. The following form should be printed out and filled
 in and sent to:
 The Secretary (Bursaries), British-Bulgarian Friendship Society, 22 Modena Rd.,
 Hove, E. Sussex BN3 5QG. Tel/Fax: 01273 726 433.
 A letter of recommendation is required from a current or recent tutor or
 lecturer, together with confirmation that the applicant is currently attending
 a course at a UK university or college.
 It is not necessary to give details of financial circumstances, though we hope
 that students with adequate funds will not apply for the bursaries.
 Applications can be made at any time. The committee awarding bursaries meets at
 the beginning of each term and a decision on all submitted applications will be
 made at the end of January, April and October respectively.
